Is It Safe To Uninstall Lenovo Easy Camera

I bought a new lenovo G500 notation book, i5, 4GB ram with windows 8 but today when I click to camera tile it says this camera is not compatible wit this version of windows. I have tried driver update and some other settings just failed. please assist me.

This is the Win 8 driver for the Lenovo G500 camera:

Camera Commuter (AVC, Bison, Chicony, Lite-On) for Windows 8 (64-bit) - Lenovo G400, G500
Version: AVC Liteon 6.2.9200.10227 Bison Chicony 3.13.301.1

Get it here and make certain y'all download the Win 8 version:

Thank you very much my2cents. let me say some more problems please when i try to install this Photographic camera Driver (AVC, Bison, Chicony, Lite-On) for Windows eight (64-chip) i got an error bulletin " your driver is going to install inappropriately" and and so disappear everything. could it be a hardware trouble?

Unfortunately, I have never encountered that exact bulletin so I can't say; even so, let's attempt something different. Open your device director and provide a screenshot of the driver you have installed correct now:

Take note that I aslo have a Lenovo (B575) and my commuter was provided by MS. From here you accept two options:

1- If the "rollback" push is clickable, endeavor to rollback the current driver considering it could have come from an optional Windows Update download and they do not have a good rails record in that area.

2- Try uninstalling the current driver, reboot and encounter what happens.

The next step would be to try and place the specific device ID; however, I'k going out for almost 3 hours and so I won't be able to respond so perhaps someone else tin can step in and help you in the interim. Good luck
